The following code has been designed for the purpose of maintaining the balance between the interests of the individual guests and the guest community as a whole, whilst providing protection for the environment.

The Directors of Mabula reserve the right to take appropriate action in cases where the code is breached. Such action may include the imposition of a fine and/or expulsion from the Reserve.

1. Private vehicles are only permitted on the main roads between the main gate, the Lodge and the timeshare camps. Private vehicles may not be used to go on game drives
2. The maximum speed on the Reserve is 30km/h and will be enforced.
3. No person may drive a vehicle whilst under the influence of alcohol.
4. No person may drive any vehicle on any Mabula road unless they are in possession of a valid drivers license.
5. Reckless and negligent driving is not permitted.
6. The feeding of animals and birds is strictly prohibited
7. Walking is only permitted on the walking trails. No walking, jogging or cycling is allowed on any of the roads.
8. Bicycles, motor bikes and private quad bikes are not allowed on the Reserve.
9. No animal, either domestic or wild may be brought onto the Reserve. These animals will be destroyed on sight.
10. No person may at any time disturb the peace and/or privacy of others on the Reserve.
11. No property may be damaged, disturbed or removed.
12. No litter may be left on the property.
13. No firearms are allowed on the Reserve.
14. No person may hunt, kill, maim, disturb, feed, tease or capture any animal, either vertebrate or invertebrate.
