Why leave Cape Town to enjoy the Knysna Oyster festival, when the festival has already made its way to the Cape Milner hotel?
The original Oyster festival, is now in its 24th year, sees all oysters gear up for the prestige of being announced ‘mollusc of the year’. The Cape Milner’s interpretation is slightly different and affords guests an opportunity to embark upon a taste sensation to discover the mother of all pearls - literally.
Calling all oyster enthusiasts to celebrate this annual festival in true Cape Townian fashion! Diners at the Cape Milner can now enjoy an ‘Oyster promotion’ for R90 per person. Inclusive of six large oysters, accompanied by a glass of Pongracz, one oyster on every fourth plate served will offer a lucky guest an alluring pearl. This pearl entitles the patron to a delicate string of fresh water pearls, courtesy of the hotel. The Milner Oyster promotion is running from midday onwards every day from 1 June until the end of July.
